Tobacco Export License Registration Procedure

Mandatory e-filing of applications is required for obtaining fresh registration or renewal of registration for all categories of traders. This process should be completed through www.tobaccoboard.in for each calendar year.

Upon e-filing, traders must submit the “Declaration Form” on the company’s letterhead, duly signed by the authorized person, along with the payment of the registration fee, as specified in the online system.

The processing of applications will commence upon the receipt of the original demand draft favoring “Tobacco Board” and payable at Guntur, accompanied by the declaration form.

Any discrepancies or shortfalls will be communicated through the online system exclusively.

Traders are obligated to meet the requirements within the specified timeframes outlined in the notifications issued by the Board through the online system.

The status of their application can be verified solely through the online system.

    1. Latest Bank Certificate against the current account of the applicant’s banker, presented in the prescribed proforma.

    2. Letter of Undertaking on the company letterhead, following the prescribed proforma.
    3. Copy of Partnership Deed/Memorandum of Articles of Association, inclusive of complete addresses of partners/directors, if the firm is a Partnership/Private Ltd/Public Ltd.
    4. Copy of the GST certificate.
    5. Copy of PAN Card.
    6. Copy of Importer Exporter Code (IEC) certificate.
    7. Applicants seeking registration or renewal of registration as an Exporter of Tobacco (for Un Manufactured Tobacco) are required to provide details of godowns/warehouses/handling points (including branches) in the application. The particulars should include:
      • Location – address in full with Phone No.
      • Space of each godown in square feet.
      • Indication of ownership (own or lease).
    8. In the case of a lease, the full address of the owner, along with a self-attested copy of the lease agreement on a Rs.100/- non-judicial stamp paper, must be submitted.
